Surprise! We have a baby on the way!

(This picture makes it look like Alayna has a pretty good idea of what is going on... We had nothing to do with it. She was just trying to stand up.)

We are so excited and have been waiting for this for a long time. I'm just about eight weeks, and morning sickness is setting in at full force. I've been catching myself giggle even after a quick run to the bathroom, because it just doesn't seem real yet. I'm so thankful (even for the throw up) that we are able to have another baby. We have been so blessed lately!

We just got done moving into our first home and have been juggling work, school, unpacking, family, and my new best friend, the toilet.

We had an ultrasound done yesterday to start things off right, and the baby seems just fine (even though it looks like a little blob).

Alayna has been pretty excited. She came over to me while I was studying the other day and had her doll under her shirt.

I'm sure she'll be a great big sister and show the baby everything she knows.

She keeps us laughing, and we can't imagine life without her. We are so excited for another one.
