Alayna was so excited to start preschool this week. I can't believe she is big enough to go to preschool! It is true that it is harder on the parent to be separated from the child when they start school. I miss her so much when she is gone, but she enjoys it so much that it makes up for all my tears.This is the classic picture of her standing on the front porch ready to go to school. She was struggling to keep her eyes open because the cold wind was blowing so hard, and she was wondering why we had to go out on the front porch to take the picture when we were just going to go back in the house, then to the garage, then get in the car to go to school.
She was so excited when she found out that she had almost the same princess backpack as her cousin, Aubrey. "It even has Tiana on it!" I don't think I'll have to worry about that one getting lost at school. She won't let it out of her sight.

Carson somehow figured out how to put Alayna's vest on while I was getting her ready. I think he just wanted to go to school, too.

Oh, man! Your pictures make us miss you! Alayna looks so very excited and Carson has grown and changed so much since July! How is school going for you? I need to give you a call. Aubrey misses Alayna and talks about her and prays for her all the time. Love you guys. Oh, and cute fall background on your blog. I love it!

ReplyDeleteOh I love all your pictures! I had to scroll the whole way down to see them all because I guess I haven't checked in a long time!! SO CUTE!! Can't believe you have a preschooler! It seems like all my friends do actually--its crazy! I'm glad she's really liking it, but I can imagine it would be stressful to have them gone. I can just imagine myself sitting home and worrying my kids all day!! :( Your little boy is such a cutie!! And your girl looks so beautiful and grown up! How crazy! Where are you at now anyway and whats going on with you and Ben? Hope all is well! Love ya!! :)
